Hi, I’m Hayley. I’m a Personal Trainer and have been in the fitness industry since July 2014. Through being a trainer I have come to see a lot of people struggle with finding balance with being healthy and becoming fit in their day to day life, and that’s where this blog comes in.
I love my sports and being active. From Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, training in the gym, and going climbing when I get the chance.
However by having so many interests I had to learn how to find balance with all these things and not allow either one to take over. I had to learn how to enjoy a variety of hobbies without stressing too much when a night off was needed.
I enjoy the simple things in life and love nothing more than to be outdoors watching the world go by (add food and coffee into this equation and I’ll be happy for days).
Although a little introverted, I enjoy a good conversation, talk to me about your dreams and ideas or something I feel passionate about and all of a sudden I have a lot to say.
In general I’m quite a positive person and try and use that to motivate others (sometimes easier said than done). I try my best to stay away from negativity and enjoy being around those who have the same passion for life that I have.
Although a Personal Trainer and someone who is willing to work hard, I believe in having the right balance with work and life. I feel by being quite minimalistic with my lifestyle this allows me to live this way. You won’t see me working silly hours each week and I always have a whole Saturday off. I want to work hard, enjoy what I do, but I also want to enjoy my hobbies, spend time with my partner and be able to look after our home.
I’m also yet to mention that I’m Vegetarian, I don’t feel this defines who I am but it’s a lifestyle I have been following since January 2019, and I personally feel it’s the best thing I have ever done for my health. If this is something any of you are interested in then why not give it a go, I can almost be certain you won’t regret it.
